U2 is my guilty pleasure. Guilty because they’ve done nothing good since Achtung Baby. Zoo station is taken from that album released way back in 1991.

I remember going to see them in Leeds on the Zoo TV tour at Roundhay Park. For a large outdoor venue, the sound and view was amazing. It was like a natural amphitheatre dug out of the ground, and the weather held out, so no mud bath.

They opened with Zoo Station with Bono standing in silhouette against the big screens—the anticipation was amazing. U2 nailed the live show with the graphics on those screens.

Anyhoo the type from the album Achtung Baby has stuck with me and I’m constantly trying to get that look.
