I then worked back into the image by hand, adding real paint, drips and physical textures.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe result sits somewhere between a digital portrait and a traditional mixed-media painting. Visible brush marks and hand-applied details give the surface genuine depth, while the abstract treatment makes it more than a straightforward piece of music memorabilia.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIt would make a distinctive gift for any fan of The Who, British rock or expressive portrait art — particularly someone whose walls could use a little more noise.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eI only have two copies of this artwork.
