About David Beckham Painting
This expressive David Beckham painting captures one of Britain’s most recognisable sporting figures through energetic brushwork, layered colour and hand-applied mixed-media texture.
David Beckham is known as much for his style and cultural influence as his football career. From Manchester United and England to fashion, charity work and global advertising campaigns, he has become an icon far beyond the pitch.
I originally created the portrait on my iPad, digitally combining different painting techniques before producing it as a 12-colour Giclée print mounted onto a wood panel. I then worked back into the image by hand, adding gold leaf, gold spray paint, real paint drips and physical textures.
The finished piece has the depth and surface character of a traditional mixed-media painting, complete with visible brush marks and individually applied details.
It would make a distinctive gift for a David Beckham fan, football enthusiast or collector of contemporary pop-culture portrait art.
Only two copies of this artwork are available. Because each one is finished individually by hand, the paint marks and finer details will vary slightly from the image shown.
