Love what you do

Type is everywhere.

I always had a fascination with it. As a kid I did a work experience at a sign writers and I loved it. For ages I kept telling people, “See that sign. I did that”.

I may be older but I still get a kick out of saying “I did that”.

I’ve spent 20 years working in the design industry and was a web designer by trade. But got tired of the rat race. So I stopped doing things I didn’t want to do—and started doing things that I did want to do—more creative things.

Someone once told me, “The things you love doing in your spare time should be the things you do full-time.” My passion turned out to be font design and digital painting—an eclectic mix I know.

I love both, so I decided to turn my side hustle into a full-time career.

I’ve worked with companies like Three Mobile, ITV, King, Outpost Games, and Reebok to name just a few.
