Behind the type
Little wonder font a handpainted brush script typeface
Little Wonder is distinct hand painted typeface. Made with a single watercolour brush and painstakingly digitised into a font. When inspiration hits you, you've got to run with it. With Little Wonder I had this idea of a fat v thin brush stroke. Creating the different letters took me about 3 hrs. I worked really quickly just creating lots and lots of letters. I ended up with over 60 sheets of paper full of different watercolour marks. I was really excited to see what it would look like, so got to work converting it. I wish I could just snap...
Mister Rooster font a script font made in illustrator
Introducing Mister Rooster font, I've changed the name to Miss Rooster (don't ask). It's been a while since I last did a script font, and I swore I wouldn't do another one for a while—I kept my word. I've been concentrating on photography packs and have another one in the works but wanted to finish Mister Rooster first. Created by robots Mister Rooster was created entirely on my mac, in illustrator. I thought it would be quicker, and it was. Not scanning paper into my computer is a massive bonus, its music to my ears. Illogical just makes sense This...

I've only started to use my Instagram account in the last few months. I joined years ago but never used it. Like dude, where have you been? I know, it was the last thing on my mind. I love it now. Brushes all the way My hand lettering is created with a brush pen...
Bangers and Mash font handmade serif
Bangers and Mash font, my follow-up from a font I designed called Buckley. Bangers and Mash is a hand-lettered typeface, with a playful old school vibe. This seems to be my style at the moment, I'm obsessed with anything hand-made. I get totally inspired by a love of craft and using real materials—even if the craft is just doodling and messing around. I really like the imperfect characteristics of ink on paper. So with Bangers and Mash, I'm keeping it real. Created with a Tombow I created it using a Tombow N15 pen, it's a dual brush pen that has...
