Fierce font is a hand-painted full-colour brush display typeface. Using the new OpenType-SVG font capabilities that now bring full colour to Mac Photoshop fonts. The beauty of a full-colour font is that it keeps all the lovely details that my original painting included. It's not just black; it has hundreds of subtle shades, dirt, and grime. I've never used a 3D rendering program to make a typeface before. But that's exactly what I've done with my new font called Yeah. Each letter was modeled in Cinema 4D to look like those gold foil mylar balloons. Very big, and bold and very Kitsch. The 3D models were then taken into Photoshop. Have you ever noticed your old t-shirts have that random cracking over the design? I totally love that effect. Most of the inks on those vintage t-shirts are printed with plastisol.
