Getting a square greeting card design onto marketplaces such as Etsy shouldn’t require a new photoshoot every time. Square Greeting Card Mockup 2 gives you eight professionally photographed Photoshop scenes with editable Smart Objects. Open a PSD, paste in your artwork, save it and export a polished product image. No lighting setup, no camera and no rebuilding the scene whenever you create a new card.
What is Square Greeting Card Mockup 2?
Square Greeting Card Mockup 2 is a collection of eight layered Photoshop mockups designed for presenting square greeting cards. Every scene was photographed in my home studio and includes a natural brown envelope, realistic lighting and an editable Smart Object for your artwork.
The scenes are ready to use. You are not buying a complicated scene-building kit that takes an afternoon to understand. Choose a photograph, replace the sample artwork and export the finished image.

It gives card designers a quick way to turn flat artwork into product photography suitable for:
- Etsy listings
- Independent online shops
- Design portfolios
- Client presentations
- Social-media promotions
- Launch announcements
Turn one card design into a complete product listing
One flat artwork file rarely gives a customer enough information. It shows the design, but not how it looks as an actual card.

The eight photographed scenes let you present the same design in different settings without creating eight separate photoshoots. Use one clear image as the main listing photograph, then choose a few supporting scenes to show the envelope, scale and physical character of the card.
A useful product-image sequence might include:
- A clear hero image showing the complete card.
- A second scene with the brown envelope.
- A closer crop showing the illustration or typography.
- A wider composition that gives the card some context.
- An alternative image for Pinterest, Instagram or advertising.
You do not have to use every scene. Choose the photographs that make the listing clearer and leave out anything that merely repeats the previous image.

Why use a photographed greeting card mockup?
Computer-generated mockups can be useful, but they often look too perfect. The paper is spotless, every shadow behaves itself and the whole scene has the slightly unsettling atmosphere of an empty show home.
I photographed these scenes using my Nikon D610. The lighting, paper, shadows, envelopes and surrounding objects are real, which gives your artwork a more natural setting without asking you to organise the photography yourself.

Real photography also gives customers visual clues about the card. They can see its proportions, understand how it sits beside an envelope and imagine the finished product more easily than they can from a flat JPEG.
How do you add your card design in Photoshop?
Each PSD contains an editable Smart Object. This lets you replace the sample artwork while retaining the photographed perspective, lighting and surface detail.
To add your design:
- Open your chosen PSD in Adobe Photoshop.
- Find the card artwork Smart Object in the Layers panel.
- Double-click the Smart Object thumbnail.
- Paste your square card design into the window that opens.
- Scale and position the artwork without stretching it.
- Save and close the Smart Object.
- Return to the main PSD and your design will appear in the photographed scene.
- Export the finished image for your shop, portfolio or social media.
Once you have done it once, you can repeat the process across the other scenes. Keep the layered PSD files and use them again whenever you create a new card design.
What is included in the download?
Square Greeting Card Mockup 2 includes:
- Eight different static Photoshop PSD files.
- Real top-down photographs taken in my home studio.
- Square greeting cards presented with brown envelopes.
- Editable Smart Objects for replacing the card artwork.
- Layered files measuring approximately 5800 × 3900 pixels.
- A resolution of 300 dpi.
- Full video instructions explaining how to replace the design.
The complete download is approximately 816 MB because the files retain their high resolution and editable Photoshop layers.
What can you change?
You can replace the card artwork using the supplied Smart Object and export the completed scene at the size required for your shop or presentation.
These are static photographic mockups rather than a scene creator. The card, envelope and props have already been photographed in position, so they cannot be moved around independently.
This keeps the process quick. There are no objects to arrange, shadows to construct or camera angles to invent. Pick the scene that suits the design and add your artwork.
Adobe Photoshop is required to edit the PSD files.
What types of cards can you present?
The mockups are not limited to birthday cards. Any square artwork can be placed inside the Smart Object, making the scenes suitable for:
- Birthday cards
- Wedding invitations
- Thank-you cards
- Mother’s Day and Father’s Day cards
- Get-well cards
- Christmas cards
- Announcements
- Typographic cards
- Illustrated stationery
- Small art prints
The natural settings and brown envelopes are deliberately fairly neutral, so they can support different illustration styles, colours and occasions.
Who are these Photoshop mockups for?
The pack is designed for independent card designers, illustrators, stationery brands, Etsy sellers and graphic designers who need convincing product images without arranging a photoshoot for every design.
It is also useful when presenting concepts to a client. Placing flat artwork into a photographed scene makes the idea easier to judge and gives the presentation a more finished appearance.
If you release cards regularly, the time saving quickly becomes the main benefit. Open the PSD, replace the artwork and export a consistent set of listing images. The photography has already been done. The props have even turned up on time.
