Have you been enjoying James Acaster's appearance on Celebrity Traitors season two? I know I have. I think he is a potential winner.
I've always found James Acaster incredibly funny. There's something about his awkwardness, his delivery and the way he seems permanently uncomfortable with whatever's happening around him. And putting him in a castle full of celebrities, secrets and accusations? Well, that's entertainment.
The funny thing is, James really wanted to be a Faithful. I don't think he's naturally comfortable with lying, and I suspect becoming a Traitor wasn't quite what he'd imagined. Yet he's somehow managed to navigate the whole business very well.
Watching him try to maintain that innocent exterior while secretly plotting murders has been one of my favourite parts of the series.
Naturally, I decided to turn him into a couple of Christmas cards. As you do.
James Acaster Christmas Card: Started Lying. Had a Breakdown.
“STARTED LYING. HAD A BREAKDOWN. MERRY CHRISTMAS.”
If you're familiar with James Acaster's comedy, you'll probably recognise the rhythm of that sentence.
I've illustrated James wearing a Santa hat, looking as though the festive season has become another situation he'd rather not explain.
It's a Christmas card for James Acaster fans, Celebrity Traitors obsessives and anyone who finds the whole business of Christmas a little overwhelming.

James Acaster Christmas Card: Dear Santa
“DEAR SANTA, I'VE BEEN GOOD ALL YEAR. APART FROM THE MURDERS.”
We've all been there. Writing to Father Christmas, explaining how wonderfully we've behaved, conveniently overlooking the occasional incident.
Admittedly, most of us haven't been secretly murdering celebrities in a Scottish castle.
For this card, I've drawn James wearing his green Traitor's cloak and holding a lantern. A picture of festive innocence, provided you don't ask too many questions.
It's perfect for someone who loves James Acaster's comedy, has been following every episode of Celebrity Traitors, or simply enjoys a Christmas card with a slightly questionable confession.

A Funny Christmas Card for the James Acaster Fan in Your Life
Both cards feature my original illustrations and are professionally printed on 280gsm card with a glossy finish. They're approximately 7 × 5 inches and come with a brown kraft envelope.
Each Christmas card costs £4.
You can have the card delivered to yourself, or I can handwrite your message inside and post it directly to the recipient. The handwriting is included in the price.
So, if you've got a friend or family member who's a James Acaster fan, perhaps one of these will make them laugh.
And if James isn't their favourite, I've also illustrated Romesh Ranganathan, Michael Sheen, Maya Jama and several other familiar faces from the castle.
